1994 - 1996 Microrim Software Software Sales

A top selling sales rep for a relational database called R:Base - an accounting software.   As a top producing salesman during most of my tenure, I was always in the top 10% of sales - above 40 other sales reps.  I learned valuable verbal sales and personable articulation skills, that enabled me to close a sale when many others would give up.  I also attained a higher than average customer retention rates, by offering extensive client support experience.
 

1993 - 1994 Microsoft - Contractor (Entex) Microsoft Software Install Manager

Solely managed the New Software Installation Group, consisting of 12 Install Techs.  In charge of hiring, firing and advancement of techs.  I wrote and instigated new databases and operating parameters to speed up install and delivery time of new PC's.  Learned how and when to lead, follow or get out of the way.
 

1992 - 1993 Microsoft - Contractor (ComputerLand) Microsoft PC Repair - Assistant Manager

Responsibilities included having all hardware problems repaired by utilizing the most expeditious and cost effective means available, while still supplying maximum customer satisfaction.  Designed and instigated innovative techniques of operation in order to further satisfy Microsoft employees.  For example, better parts ordering and tracking programs, which were used by all techs to reduce computer down-time by up to 30 minutes.
 

1988 - 1992 Taylor Development Corporation President

Bought, renovated and sold old homes.  Biggest project was owning and renovating the Lake Forest Park Mansion; which required a $300,000 budget, as well as 80 sub-contractors and interior design teams.  The estate was the 1990 A.S.I.D. Designer Show Home, and entertained a record 20,000+ people in 30 days.  I put the estate on the National & State Register of Historic Places.
 

1982 Microsoft MS-DOS High School Student

Wrote my first software program calculating the distance a cannon ball would fly based on numerous variables.  Ever since then, I was hooked on computers.
