Music Poem

As we are getting older
and also getting slower,
we see a chair over there
and sit to slumber
Now that just slows us down,
we should really move around
to some music, a melody
to make us come alive.

Now music is a dialect
which everybody understands,
it cheers us up, makes us smile
a melody is worthwhile

As we do get older,
we think we need more rest.
Let's not kid ourselves,
activity is best.
Music is a language,
it turns on energy,
it's the switch to therapy.
