Tele-sales rep selling a relational database called R:Base and accounting software called Abacus. I was top salesman a few months and in the top 10% of sales most every month. I learned valuable sales and articulation skills, as well as customer contact and client support.
8/93 - 6/94	Microsoft Contractor (Entex)	Software Install Manager
Solely managed New Software Installation Group, consisting of 12 Install Techs. In charge of hiring, firing and advancement of techs. I wrote and instigated new databases and operating parameters to speed up install and delivery time of new PC's. Learned how and when to lead, follow or get out of the way.
4/92 - 7/93	Microsoft Contractor (ComputerLand)	PC Repair Assistant Manager
Responsibilities included having all hardware problems repaired by utilizing the most expeditious and cost effective means available, while still supplying maximum customer satisfaction. Designed and instigated innovative techniques of operation in order to further satisfy the customer. For example, better parts ordering and tracking programs, which were used by all techs to reduce "down-time" by up to 30 minutes.
1/88 - 3/92	Taylor Development Corp.	President
Bought, renovated and sold old homes. Owned Lake Forest Park Mansion & managed $300,000 renovation budget by producing: project renovation estimates and schedules, financial budgets, and cost-benefit analysis' to my silent partners. Also managed 80 sub-contractors and interior design teams. The estate was the 1990 A.S.I.D. Designer Show Home and entertained over 20,000 people in 30 days. I put the estate on the National & State Register of Historic Places.
